Wireless Multimedia keyboard 1.1 - Media Button (Play/Pause)

When I press Play or Pause on my keyboard, it will sometimes open up Windows
media player.

Since I use other software for music, is there any way to disable it from
opening, each time I play or pause?

Since this newsgroup is dedicated to wireless issues with pocket PCs, aka
Windows Mobile devices, and I don't have that keyboard in front of me,
forgive me if this doesn't help.
Most every such keyboard with special function keys has a feature where you
can change them to whatever you want them to do, including opening your
music software. Typically that is accessed by loading the app from the CD
that came with your keyboard. Alternately you could go to
http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/download/download.aspx?category=MK
find your model and download the current software.
